Absolutely! We always provide detailed & personalised quotations for our clients. We want you to feel completely informed from start to finish. We pride our business on clear communication, so we'll give you honest advice & walk you through each step.
After you get in touch for a quote, we'll give you a call to chat about your project.
If you're able to provide photos or even a video, we'll decide if a technician will need to attend for an inspection or not.
As always, we want to provide as much professional and accurate advice as possible, however a site inspection is not always necessary!
Design & colour of your lights & fans are definitely a personal preference!
The fittings you prefer will depend on overall spec and goal of your project. If you're fixing up a rental, or renovating your dream home, we'll get to know your needs and design during our quotation period.
If you're able to find photos of the fittings you like, send them to us and we'll source you the best price and option for your design!
Depending on your individual scope of works, our qualified technicians will let you know exactly what you need regarding your switchboard.
We won't suggest unnecessary changes. We'll provide clear advice and determine what has to change, and what we can work with.
At QConnect, our top priority is your home & family's safety. We will never complete work that does not meet current safety standards.
Older homes often have outdated and/or failing safety mechanisms, which we cannot leave unsafe if we're completing new work that will run through them.
Ultimately, it comes down to what you're adding to your home! Things like pools, spa's & sauna's, upgrading kitchen appliances and air conditioners will likely need extra capacity at the switchboard. Lighting and power circuits may have capacity but have outdated safety switches, or the circuit may be unable to add more wattage to.
You can trust that we will fill you in on exactly what's happening within your board, and provide you with options to achieve what you're after!
Yes, we do!
We offer both split system and ducted solutions for homes around Brisbane.
If you're interested to find out which aircon solution will work best for you, give us a call, we'd love to help!
Yes, you can install Ducted Air Conditioning Systems in an established home!
There are a few things we will need to consider during a site inspection:
1. Roof cavity - size and access.
2. Existing air conditioning units to be removed or replaced.
3. A run for the refrigerant pipe (pair coil) to run seamlessly from the indoor to outdoor unit, while maintaining desired property aesthetics.
4. If your property is a single or double storey;
5. If double storey - accessibility for "droppers" of duct to reach downstairs areas, for example: taking space from a linen cupboard or wardrobe.
6. Existing power supply and switchboard allowances.
7. Adequate space for the outdoor condensing unit (wall mounted or ground mounted).
If you are completing a large renovation where plaster will be removed, we can complete the installation in stages throughout the project - as long as we are involved in the planning early on!
